Two polar bear cubs named Mushka and Mishka couldn't be more different. One thinks before acting; the other charges headlong into danger. When they wander away from home in the Arctic wilderness, they each find themselves tangled in unexpected situations. Mishka crosses paths with Aura, a mischievous seal who loves playing pranks. Meanwhile, Mushka stumbles into a swan colony and destroys their eggs, turning the bird village upside down. Their father, Scholar Mu, is the wise leader of the northern animal kingdom and runs its yearly Summer Festival. But when hunters arrive and injure him, responsibility falls squarely on the cubs' shoulders. What started as carefree exploration becomes urgent: Mushka and Mishka must take up their father's duties and protect the other animals from the hunters.
