A song about going to meet someone you love becomes a story about a child walking through an ordinary neighborhood, and somehow that's everything. The animation moves at the pace of the song itself, unhurried, attentive to small things. You watch a kid in a school uniform cross a street, pass a vending machine, climb some stairs, and by the end you understand what it means to move through the world with purpose.

Ai ni Iku no. is a single-episode music video made for the song of the same name by Tomoe Shinohara. The song was featured on Minna no Uta, a program on NHK. A short slice-of-life music video, the piece serves as an animated accompaniment to the track.
