A single minute that moves like a panic attack. Taruma animates DUSTCELL's "ANTIHERO" with such relentless visual momentum that the song and the frames become inseparable, you're not watching a music video, you're experiencing the psychological spiral the music describes. The animation doesn't illustrate the track, it is the track, cutting and layering and fracturing at the exact moments the song demands it. This is what happens when you let a director treat a one-minute format like it has something to prove.

ANTIHERO is a single-episode music video for the DUSTCELL song of the same name, directed by Taruma. The video was made for PROJECT COMUC, a joint project between Shueisha's Shounen Jump+ and Avex Entertainment that also produced the one-shot Happy Happy Endorphin. It is a short psychological drama music video.
