A rich guy falls for a homeless girl who thinks she's from Venus, and somehow that's the least weird thing happening under the bridge. The cast isn't there to develop or change, they're there to collide with each other in increasingly absurd configurations, and the show trusts that watching them interact is enough. Life on the banks of the Arakawa River is as lively as ever.
