A pilot sold into a war he never chose wakes up every morning knowing he has to kill to go home. The animation doesn't just show dogfights, it makes you feel the weight of each maneuver, each decision, each body count stacking toward freedom that might never come. This is a three-episode gutpunch about a man learning that survival and becoming a monster are the same transaction, and watching him negotiate the price is something that stays with you.

Shin Kazama is a gifted young pilot whose life turns when someone he trusted as a friend tricks him into signing away his freedom. He ends up flying as a mercenary in the foreign legion that fights a civil war for the nation of Aslan, based at Area 88. To get back to Japan, he must earn enough money to buy out his contract, and he becomes one of the deadliest pilots on the base. Caught between desperation and morality, Shin must decide how much of himself he is willing to sacrifice to escape Area 88. Each mission pushes him deeper into darkness, raising the question of whether the man who leaves will still be the one who arrived.
