The interplanetary spacecraft Galileo II is on course for Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. The machines on Titan, however, are trying to wipe out humans, and it falls to Atom, known as Astro Boy, to go there and put things right. The film is a science fiction adventure, and it holds a place in history as the first fully animated anime feature made in Japan for IMAX screens.
