A kid with a missing father finds his only message carved into a marble-shooting toy, then spends an entire series proving he's worthy of it. Hitto Tamaga lives on his own after his father went missing. On his birthday, he receives his first B-Daman, a Crash B-Daman sent by his absent father, along with a message urging him to crash his adversity. Holding those words close, Hitto resolves to compete in the B-1 Crash Cup, a B-Daman battle tournament. Along the way he faces many rivals, and some of them become friends. Once the tournament ends, Hitto learns of a secret society of troublemaking B-Daman players who live only for crashing. Their true aim, and the secret hidden in Hitto's own B-Daman, remain open questions as his adventure continues.
