Little is known about the story so far, but a sneak peek shown at the Ostuni Festival points to a team of heroes who fight evil forces using their Top Plates. The protagonist is a red-haired boy with Blaze Liger. On his team, Mortal Shark belongs to a gray-haired boy, Rocky Golem to a brown-haired boy, Antler Goat to a blonde-haired girl, and Wings Falcon to a green-haired boy. On the opposing side stand a red-haired boy with Dread Dragon as the main antagonist, another red-haired boy with Reptile Hydra, a red-haired girl with Poison Scorpion, a blue-haired boy with Thunder Wolf, and a mysterious man. One more red-haired boy also appears with an unnamed red Top Plate, along with other characters. Each Top Plate carries a spirit that takes the form of an animal. The 26-episode TV series mixes action with comedy.
