In the final years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the foolish King You falls under the sway of his seductive concubine Bao Si, who pushes him to raise a God Creation Tower. The tower lets demons run rampant and brings a hellish era down on the people. To bring this tragic age to an end, Han Ji's master orders him to wipe out the demons and help Zishang overthrow the king. What neither of them expects is that Bao Si has the support of an Immortal, the Yuanming Holy Lord, and the tower's construction goes ahead. Once more the world is thrown into crisis. Brutal tyrants wage war, mighty heroes rise across the land, and noble beauties remain out of reach, and all of them face the same question: can they become the gods they aspire to be?
