It puts you in a very small room with a very small problem and somehow that's the whole appeal. Cogimyun is a ball of flour dough who wants, more than anything, to be an onigiri, which is never going to happen, and the show never treats that as a joke to punch down on. Instead she's stuck minding grandpa's apartment building while he's off somewhere, landlady duties handed to someone the size of a snack, and every tenant is another lump of dough with their own nonsense. The episodes are short, the stakes are laundry-sized, and the animation isn't trying to impress you. What lands is the quiet ache underneath the cute: wanting to be a different thing than the thing you're made of, and going to work anyway. Put it on when your brain is loud.
