A sudden ambush on Mu Tianhou, a notorious fighter of near-divine skill, sends a shock through the martial arts world. The upheaval brings together two principled disciples, Zheng Dongting and Zu Beiqiu, known as the useless brothers. One a renowned constable and the other a wealthy heir, they team up by chance and set out with two goals: helping Zu Beiqiu reach the wife he has been apart from for a decade, which means hauling a divorce letter over an enormous distance, and finding whoever truly killed their master. Their road leads to the Luo family in Yangzhou, where they stumble into a slaughter of the household and are taken for the killers. Soon they are branded the two evildoers of the Central Plains. Zheng Dongting knows martial arts but cannot put them to use, while Zu Beiqiu has skills he has no idea how to wield. Over 26 episodes of action, adventure and fantasy, the duo travel under a name they did not earn while chasing both a long-lost wife and the truth about their master's death.
