The series spends ten episodes building a conspiracy so intricate you can't see the shape of it yet; this movie pulls the thread and watches the whole thing unravel in real time. Takizawa's amnesia wasn't a mystery to solve, it was the only thing protecting him from knowing what he actually did. You get your answers. They don't land the way you expected them to, and the ending refuses to close the door completely, but you finally understand why everything had to burn.

Saki and her friends from the Eden of the East group come under suspicion of terrorism as the police close in. They keep working to help Akira Takizawa, one of the twelve Selecao, in his aim of becoming the King of Japan, even as the other surviving Selecao push their own plans and try to outdo one another in the last round of their game. Back from the United States, Takizawa learns about his lost memories and his identity, including a tie to a former Prime Minister and his request to be the King of Eden. The mystery surrounding Mr. Outside also comes apart. This film closes the story, blending action, mystery, drama, comedy and romance.
