The facility isn't a prison, it's an interrogation of what society considers sick. Xiang Li walks in thinking he has a problem. By the time he understands what's actually happening, you're watching real people break under systems designed to "save" them. The animation flickers and stutters like a corrupted file. That's the point. A story this bleak doesn't need spectacle; it needs you to sit in the discomfort of recognizing yourself in these kids.

Internet addiction has spread through a generation of young people, driven by loneliness, disbelief and anger, and a rehabilitation facility claims it can set them straight. Xiang Li, also known as Hibiki, wakes up inside it with no memory of how he got there. He learns he was knocked out and brought in at his mother's request, because his addiction was making him aggressive. The so-called academy turns out to be a prison where escape is forbidden and instructors abuse the students. Driven to despair, he goes to the roof intending to jump, and there he meets a mysterious man named Shin, who promises to give his life meaning.
