Kenshiro is heir to Hokuto Shinken, a legendary martial art that can kill a man with a single blow by striking the pressure points of his body. Only one successor can hold the art at a time, and when Kenshiro was chosen he parted ways with his brothers: Toki, who turned the art toward healing people, and Raoh, who means to impose peace on the world through sheer strength. Traveling with Lynn and Bart, Kenshiro crosses paths with an overlord who kidnaps children and forces them to labor as slaves on his own pyramid. The action adventure film is the first part of a five-part retelling made up of three movies and two OVAs.
