The movie takes the formula you know and locks it into a single, escalating fight where the stakes keep getting weirder and the despair seed turns everything upside down in real time. Flappy's the unlikely center of it all, which means the show is asking you to care about saving a mascot character instead of the city, and it commits to that pivot completely. This is a Precure movie that understands its own ridiculousness without winking at the camera. It's a 3D theater experience built around magical girls learning they can't solve everything by hitting it harder, and the movie doesn't look away from what that costs them when it matters.

A seed of hope falls out of the sky, lands on Flappy's head and starts to grow between his ears. Gooyaan is dispatched to seize it, and he uses a seed of despair to create an Uzaina, leaving the Precure with serious trouble on their hands. The film is a 3D theater feature in the Futari wa Precure: Splash Star line, mixing magical girl action and fantasy, and it also saw release in an IMAX version.
