SYNOPSIS
Tia Allbright arrives at the fortified island of Marcleida carrying Grandeek, a legendary sword inhabited by a protective spirit. Her entrance is denied, but Tia refuses to accept rejection. She scales the barriers keeping outsiders out, driven by something bigger than curiosity. On the island, a shadow moves between inhabitants. People vanish without warning, struck down by an invisible force. The culprit: a vengeful spirit trapped within Aihorn, a stolen blade, seeking retribution against those who murdered its wielder half a century prior. With each kill, the spirit grows stronger, its grip on the physical world more tangible. Tia must piece together connections between her arrival, the murders, and Aihorn's awakening. Luke, her well-meaning but clumsy partner, stumbles alongside her through mounting danger. The real question emerges quickly: can Grandeek's spirit protect her when facing another blade equally cursed by rage and loss? Time is running out before the island drowns in blood.
