A kid stumbles into the Forbidden City's actual secret and discovers that every statue watching over it is alive, waiting for her. The show treats this discovery like entering a real place, not a fantasy concept, the divine beasts have lives, politics, debts, and problems that existed long before Xiaoyu arrived. She's not chosen or special; she's just the one who picked up the wrong earring, and now she has to figure out what these immortals want from an ordinary girl who keeps getting pulled into their world at night.

Eleven-year-old Li Xiaoyu is an ordinary girl who comes across a magical gemstone earring in the Forbidden City. Led by the earring, she stumbles into an unseen world tucked inside the palace, where divine beasts, immortals, spirits and monsters that normally sit as statues on eaves, railings and frescoes come alive. The jewel chooses Xiaoyu as a guardian. From then on, each time the sun and moon turn, she is carried into the realm of the divine beasts and helps them sort out all kinds of troubles. The fantasy adventure runs for 26 episodes as an online series.
