A ghost moves in to fix a kid's diet and somehow becomes her actual family. The comedy doesn't need plot or stakes to land, just timing, weird character chemistry, and the absolute certainty that everyone on screen is exactly as broken as they pretend not to be. Episodes exist to let you watch Kokkuri lose his mind over cup ramen one more time, and that's enough.

Kohina Ichimatsu is an emotionally detached girl who calls herself a doll, lives entirely on her own, and eats cup ramen for every meal. She ends up summoning Kokkuri-san, a low-ranking fox spirit from Japanese folklore, who appears as a handsome young man with white hair. His powers have faded because modern society no longer believes in him. He first means only to haunt her, but her eating habits and the discovery that she has no adult looking after her alarm him. So he stays on as a guardian, cooking her proper meals and trying to give her a decent life. Their eccentric shared routine grows more chaotic with the arrival of Inugami, a two-faced dog spirit, and Shigaraki, a tanuki spirit who drinks and gambles. The result is an absurd supernatural comedy.
