Keitaro has spent six years alone inside a closed-down fireworks factory, crafting explosions of color in the silence. He's chasing a ghost: an illusion of his father, who vanished. Tomorrow, the authorities are set to carry out an administrative seizure of the Obinata Fireworks Shop factory. His story belongs to three young people facing extreme weather, disasters and environmental problems that have been forced upon them. What unfolds is their struggle against forces they can't control, and their effort to overcome them and establish who they are. The result is a drama about identity, persistence and the bright, brief art of fireworks.
