SYNOPSIS
A rescue mission turns into a nightmare when nine crew members arrive at the uncharted Inferno II. What they find isn't a salvageable wreck but a hunting ground. Something lives here, something fast and brutally efficient at turning trained soldiers into casualties. Within hours, eight of the nine are gone. Makuro Kitazato wakes up covered in blood that isn't his own. He's alone on a hostile planet with a creature that shouldn't exist, and he's running out of time. Another ship is heading toward Inferno II with no idea what waits for them. No distress signal will reach them in time. No reinforcements are coming. Survival means learning how this thing hunts. It means setting traps on unfamiliar terrain while staying one step ahead of something faster and stronger. It means becoming a killer to save strangers he'll never meet.
