A four-minute handmade animation that moves like a cat actually thinks, not like a story trying to teach you something. One nameless cat, alone, switching between tender and mischievous without warning, and that's the whole thing. A handmade animated cat is left at home by itself for the first time. The cat has no name yet, and no one knows whether it is male or female. It has two faces: one very sensitive, the other rather mischievous. The film runs about four minutes, and its makers aimed for gentle animation that avoids overwhelming children with noise and a flood of images. It won the Oofuji Noburou Award at the 1996 Mainichi Film Awards.
