Karin is out walking with her friends when the White Dragon suddenly carries her off to the land of Kyou, a place resembling Heian-era Kyoto. Her arrival comes a century after the events of the original story. Kyou is in turmoil: the emperor and the retired emperor are locked in a struggle for power, and its people are sinking into despair, convinced the world is about to end. Karin has been chosen as the new priestess of the White Dragon, and with her guardians at her side she must fight the evil threatening the land. All the while, visions of a mysterious man keep coming to her. The three-episode OVA blends adventure, drama, fantasy and romance.
