Nobody expects the spin-off shorts to be better than the main show, but these chibi episodes strip away everything overwrought about In/Spectre and leave you with pure character comedy. The jokes land because they're not trying to solve mysteries or prove anything, just two people in a tiny art style figuring out how to exist around each other. It's the show at its most relaxed, which means it's actually the most fun.

In/Spectre Mini is a set of 38 short comedy ONA episodes from 2019 that redraw the characters of In/Spectre in a chibi, super-deformed style. The shorts first appeared on the official Twitter account and were later collected on the Blu-ray release. Among them is a bonus episode celebrating the launch of the BD and DVD editions.
