The Imagin are why Den-O works. This OVA knows it, and stops pretending the human lead matters. Four time-traveling demons arguing about food, romance, and stupid plans while accidentally solving timeline problems is the entire show, and that's exactly what it should be. The comedy lands because these characters have already earned their chemistry in the live action series, so the OVA just turns them loose. You're watching creatures that should annoy you become the only cast you actually want to follow.
