A show that commits completely to the bit: kendama is genuinely dangerous, genuinely cool, and genuinely the answer to every problem Ken faces. The action choreography treats stick-and-ball tricks like legitimate combat sequences, building absurd tension around landing a perfect lunar. By the time you realize this show is playing it completely straight, you're already invested in watching a guy solve corruption with toy physics and pure stubbornness.

Ken Tamaki is a hotshot player of kendama, the traditional Japanese skill toy, and in his world the game is far more than a simple plaything. Through the hobby he loves most, he battles rivals, takes down crooked organizations, and even finds romance. With so much at stake, Ken has to fight for his right to keep playing and face the demons inside himself. The short-format series runs ten episodes and mixes action with comedy.
