Sergeant Keroro has a problem. The pint-sized alien amphibian crash-landed on Earth centuries ago and was supposed to conquer the planet for his Keron army. Instead, he got comfortable. He lives with a human family now, spends his days plotting elaborate invasion schemes that never quite work out, and has somehow become genuinely invested in the lives of the people he's meant to subjugate. His fellow soldiers keep dropping in to check on his progress, each one baffled by how little actual conquering has happened. Keroro's too busy bonding with his human hosts, obsessing over Japanese culture, and getting sidetracked by whatever ridiculous situation the day throws at him. Between his bumbling platoon mates, the suspicious family members who may or may not know what he really is, and his own surprisingly genuine attachment to Earth, invasion timelines keep getting pushed back indefinitely. It's comedy built on the premise of a would-be conqueror who's terrible at his job because he actually likes it here. Expect silly hijinks, sci-fi absurdity, and the running gag of an alien who talks a big game but can't quite commit to world domination.
