A man who gave up on living finds an android that wasn't supposed to work, and she keeps showing up anyway. The only real plot is two broken things learning to want something again, one breakfast at a time. By the end you'll understand why a broken music box matters more than any explanation could.

In 2039, helper androids are as ordinary as household electronics. Keiichiro lost his parents and younger sister in a car accident, blames himself for surviving, and has quit his band. Sheltering from the rain at an old shrine, he finds an abandoned android girl sitting among the garbage with a sunflower in her hands. A repair shop tells him she will never work, and he plans to throw her away. The next morning, though, she is in the kitchen cooking breakfast. He names her Flower, and a summer begins for an android without memories and a young man without dreams. The result is a short sci-fi drama with a quiet slice-of-life feel.
