A guy ignores a cat in a box for a year, then finally picks it up. That's the whole premise, delivered with flash animation so deliberately cheap it becomes the joke. The comedy lives in the spaces between moments, in the absurd patience of both the cat and the man who can't be bothered to care, until suddenly he does.

Haruo Kyattsuyama is that guy: a supposed student at the low-ranked Kunekune College who has attended class exactly once. One day he spots a Russian Blue cat abandoned in a cardboard box by the road. He acts as though he never saw it, and he keeps that up for an entire year. When nobody else comes along to rescue the cat, he finally decides to take it in, only to find that the single cat has become three Russian Blues. He asks their names, and all three give the same answer: Kan-u. What follows is a short gag comedy made with flash animation and based on Kaoru Curry-zawa's cat humor manga. It runs five episodes.
