Shoutarou is a good-for-nothing detective in a town set in an alternate world, where strange mass disappearances happen at night. The residents have come to dread falling shadows and the arrival of evening. A chance meeting with a young woman named Tanne and her armored train sets Shoutarou on a path to crack the case for good. This single pilot special introduces that mysterious setting.
