This is the arc where Lu Guang is the one keeping secrets, and watching him operate with a dead friend's future in his head turns every calm line he delivers into a threat. Cheng Xiaoshi still dives into other people's photos with the same old rules hanging over him, except now the photo that matters carries clues about his parents, and Lu Guang walks into Yingdu already knowing how badly this can go. The new faces earn their screen time: Xia Fei plays friendly like it costs her nothing, Vein runs Chinatown on rules nobody explained to you, and Liu Xiao keeps showing up exactly where he shouldn't. Six episodes is not enough runway for the threads it throws in the air, and it closes on almost nothing resolved, so go in knowing you are being set up. But the art, the character designs, and the twist timing are franchise standard, which means you will sit through the credits mad and immediately want more.

Lu Guang has returned to the start of events to save Cheng Xiaoshi, who was killed by a mysterious man punishing the Time Photo Studio for meddling with time. When a photograph holding clues about Cheng Xiaoshi's parents turns up at the studio, an anxious Lu Guang travels with him to Bridon, also called Yingdu, to look into his father's whereabouts. There they meet people with differing motives: the apparently friendly popular model Xia Fei, Vein, the eccentric leader of Chinatown, and Liu Xiao, who appears out of nowhere. A string of small differences from what Lu Guang remembers throws everything into uncertainty. With his knowledge of the future no longer reliable, he has to come up with a new plan to stop the man who took everything from him and break free of a fated dead end. The six episode supernatural mystery thriller opens with a first episode of roughly 65 minutes.
