The nine Guardians exist as real people with conflicting needs, not love interest slots to fill. Ange's journey to save a dying world is actually secondary to watching her become someone worth saving herself. The romance isn't decoration on an adventure story, it's the proof that growth happens when someone finally believes you're worth the risk.

Ange, a young girl, is summoned to a Sacred Land and chosen as the Legendary Etoile. Her mission is to save the newly born Cosmos of the Holy Beast, which has fallen into crisis and is dying. Nine Guardians, each holding the power of one of nine elements, support her as she sets out on a journey to rescue that land and to learn who she truly is. Adapted from Koei's Angelique love simulation games, the series mixes fantasy adventure with romance, comedy and drama.
