Goemon's wedding becomes the perfect excuse to watch Lupin pull off a heist that moves at 60 frames of pure kinetic joy. The animation doesn't just support the action, it is the action, every frame a choice, every chase scene built to remind you why this crew still works together decades later. This is Lupin when he knows exactly what he is: a thief who steals because the stealing is the point.

Goemon is about to marry Murasaki Inabe, whose father heads a samurai clan, when the Fuma ninjas storm the ceremony and carry off the bride. As the price of her release, they demand the Inabe family's ancient treasure. Lupin, Jigen, Goemon and Fujiko team up once more, aiming to rescue Murasaki and reach the treasure ahead of the Fuma. The film blends adventure with comedy.
