SYNOPSIS
Kakarichou works in the manga editorial department at a mid-sized publisher, grinding through the daily chaos of deadlines, temperamental artists, and impossible demands from above. His job exists in that strange middle ground where he's responsible for everything but controls almost nothing. Between cajoling lazy serializers into finishing pages, salvaging manuscripts from disaster, and keeping his superiors happy, he barely has time to eat or sleep. The absurdity piles up: missed deadlines become crises, minor office squabbles turn into minor wars, and the gap between what readers expect and what the actual magazine can deliver grows wider every week. What makes it work is that Kakarichou actually cares, even when caring means sacrificing his sanity. The humor comes from watching someone navigate an utterly ridiculous system with determination and dark comedy sensibility.
