The second Meitantei Holmes film compiles a pair of episodes from the TV anime about the great detective Holmes. The first, as its title indicates, revolves around a case in which Mrs. Hudson is taken hostage. The second centers on a great aerial battle over the Strait of Dover. Released in 1986, the movie blends adventure, comedy and mystery, pairing detective cases with a lighthearted touch.
