Ray Wakui builds a world in five minutes that most shows take five episodes to establish. The animation doesn't serve the song, it becomes the song, every frame a brushstroke that moves because the music demands it. Suisei's voice pulls you through a narrative that exists only in suggestion and color, the kind of precision that reminds you why some artists are worth following across any format.

Michizure is a music video made for the song of the same name by Hoshimachi Suisei. Ray Wakui directed it, and it runs as a single episode set to the track.
