On this planet, the DS (Damocles) technological army holds control, under the command of a powerful AI. The Falcon Force, which resists both the AI and DS, is carrying out a purge of Mad Dog Town, a DS testing ground. Ma San, who once worked there as an electrician, has deja vu, an ability that lets him briefly see what is about to happen. Together with the cyborg Ling, the hacker Xiao Hai, and the mysterious Luo Ning, he rebels and breaks out. Meanwhile, the town's owner, "Father" Moby, flees the colony by rocket just as the townspeople face being burned alive. To save them, Ma San links into the AI's Sky Eye satellite, stops the Father, and escapes Mad Dog Town with the others. What he pulls off hints that Ma San could be from DS himself, and he starts to question where his deja vu really comes from.
