Neppuu Kairiku Bushi Road: Kibou e no Michi is a single-episode special from 2014 that serves as an epilogue to the fall 2013 series and came with its Blu-ray release. The original series is set after a poison called shinobi, carried to earth by an asteroid, devastated the world and drove people to Kairiku, land that was once the ocean floor. There, Ame, princess of a fallen nation, rises to save the world, a task that calls for the Holy Weapon Giga Road and the legendary warrior Yagyuu. The special blends fantasy with mecha action.
