Sanga has built The Lastland, a heavily fortified zone. When villagers discover safe water of their own, he leads his band of killers to wipe them out and take what they've found. Into this brutal standoff steps Kenshiro, a mysterious stranger whose mastery of the martial art Hokuto Shin Ken lets him defeat any opponent. He appears without warning and cuts down Sanga's men in an instant. Sanga will stop at nothing to seize the water, and Kenshiro will stop at nothing to keep him from it.
