A kid hiding who she is meets a kid hiding who he is, and four episodes is somehow enough to make you feel the weight of both secrets. Nijika's grief about her mother isn't background texture, it's the reason she moves through every scene the way she does. The romance works because it's not the point; two people learning they don't have to perform for each other is.

Nijika Kohinata is a tall, beautiful sixth grader who looks older than she is. Her mother, a legendary actress, died of an illness, and since then Nijika has kept away from show business, even though her family has ties to the industry. She also hides a secret: she lives with Touya Ichinose, a princely actor, and the news could cause an uproar if it got out. While out on an errand with her pet Kapitama-kun, she wanders onto a drama shoot that has lost an actress to food poisoning, and she offers to take the part. The four OVA episodes mix comedy and romance.
