Anime Like Ninja Hattori-kun (2012)
SYNOPSIS
A mysterious ninja boy with a talking ninja dog materializes in the life of an ordinary middle schooler, turning his quiet existence completely upside down. Hattori comes from a long line of shadow warriors, but he's determined to prove himself as a full-fledged ninja by protecting his new friend from the dangers lurking in everyday life. The problem is that Hattori sees threats everywhere, and his solutions involve throwing stars, smoke bombs, and elaborate ninja techniques that create absolute chaos wherever they go. What starts as reluctant coexistence becomes genuine friendship as Hattori's well-intentioned interference drags everyone into ridiculous situations. His talking dog partner offers deadpan commentary on the mayhem, the friend's family grows increasingly suspicious about the strange occurrences, and Hattori himself struggles to understand that not every problem requires a ninja solution. This is comedy built on the clash between a secret warrior's dramatic worldview and the mundane reality of school life, friendship, and learning that sometimes the greatest ninja skill is knowing when to stand down.
