Joe crashes into a space princess's ship on Mars, and suddenly he's piloting giant ninja robots against an intergalactic tyrant. The story is simple, save the galaxy, protect the princess, transform when things get dire, but that's exactly why it works; nothing gets in the way of the next fight, the next transformation, the next reason to hit the launch button. The opening theme alone rewires your brain for pure adventure, the kind that doesn't apologize for being exactly what it promises. This is what happens when a show trusts that kids (and the kids still inside adults) don't need deep characters or heavy themes to feel the rush of something genuinely fun hitting hard.
Joe Maya lives on Mars, where he one day witnesses a battle between aliens. Forces from Planet Zaboom are attacking the princess of Planet Radorio, who has fled the emperor of Zaboom and crash landed on Mars. That emperor plans to conquer the universe. When Joe wanders aboard the princess's ship, he sets off a chain of events that will change both their lives. Joe and his friends take up three powerful mechanical beasts against the emperor and his army, but the odds are heavily against them. Just when things look hopeless, a mysterious ninja robot called Tobikage appears to help. Tobikage can combine with the three beasts for tremendous power, and with its aid Joe battles the forces of Zaboom. Expect sci-fi adventure and plenty of giant robot action.
