A newborn creature living in a nose pore dreams of becoming a government worker. That absurdist premise is exactly as funny as it sounds, but the show never punches down at its protagonist, Nyuruo is sincere, and that sincerity is the joke. The comedy comes from watching something genuinely earnest exist in the most ridiculous circumstance possible, which means you're laughing with him, not at him.

Tiny creatures called Kakusen make their homes in the pores of human skin, and this second season centers on Nyuruo, a Kakusen newborn who came into being inside a nose. He knows almost nothing about the world around him, but he is thoroughly honest. In his spare time he loves stamp rallies, and his dream is to one day work for the government. Each episode is short, and the tone is pure comedy.
