The original cast is older now, still messing up spells together, still showing up for each other. This isn't a reboot that needs to prove anything. It's a postcard from people who never stopped being witches, just got better at living around it. Twenty-five years later, the show remembers what made it matter: four girls who chose each other over magic, and that choice didn't expire.

Ojamajo Doremi 1620's is a two-episode special made to mark the 25th anniversary of the Ojamajo Doremi anime. The short animations premiered at AnimeJapan 2024 as part of the franchise's celebration. As a mahou shoujo title with a slice of life feel, it offers longtime fans a brief anniversary return to the world of the magical girl series.
