Tsubomi's got a cushy gig at a lingerie bar where she serves drinks in skimpy outfits and blackmails her boss to keep her paycheck coming. Her life is uncomplicated until a mysterious talking cat with a butterfly mark on its head shows up with a strange proposition: become a magical soldier and save the world from Regina Apis, a tyrannical queen plotting to reshape reality itself. The catch? Tsubomi's combat training is laughably inadequate, her transformation sequences are ridiculous, and her enemy roster includes a dominatrix elf named Beene who may or may not be taking this more seriously than Tsubomi ever will. Enter Dandelion, a masked man whose connection to Tsubomi feels oddly significant, and suddenly the entire magical girl formula gets turned inside out. This OVA treats the magical girl genre like a joke worth telling, parodying everything from transformation scenes to melodramatic villain monologues. It's deliberately absurd, unapologetically ecchi, and refuses to take itself even remotely seriously. If you want parody with personality and no shame in its game, this one swings for the fences.
