SYNOPSIS
A sheltered princess yearns to see the world beyond her kingdom's protective walls, but monsters make that dream seem impossible. Then she meets Mikoto, a charming traveler who awakens her sense of possibility,until she witnesses his true nature as Momotaro, a demon-slayer whose methods are far more brutal than she ever imagined. Instead of retreating to safety, Saltherine becomes obsessed with understanding this contradiction. She abandons her palace life to chase after him, determined to learn what lies beyond the boundaries that have confined her. What unfolds is a journey through a monster-infested landscape where nothing is quite what it seems. Saltherine discovers that the world isn't neatly divided between human and demon, safe and dangerous. As she travels alongside Momotaro, she uncovers uncomfortable truths about the violence required to survive in these lands and questions whether the monsters she's been taught to fear are truly the enemy. Their dynamic pulls between attraction and moral conflict, between curiosity and horror, as both characters grapple with their own beliefs.
