The Precures are forced to fight in a world where their own grief is the weapon their enemies want most. Tears have apocalyptic weight here, not metaphorical, but world-ending literal stakes tied to every moment of doubt or pain they refuse to show. The film weaponizes what magical girl shows usually hide: the cost of staying strong, told through music that makes you feel what the characters cannot afford to express.

Mirai and Rico visit the human world for some fun, but they are split apart when the witch Sorciere and her servant Torauuma suddenly show up. Sorciere wants the tears of all 44 Precure girls to fuel her Most Evil Magic, and those tears hold enough power to end the world. The Precures must not cry, whatever happens. To guard their tears, they battle in a world of song and magic, and only the friendship of all 44 girls can keep the world safe. The film is a musical, action-packed magical girl crossover.
