Sarumaru Sarutani, known as Saru, is a professional golfer with one goal: to beat the mysterious Mr. X and the syndicate of villainous golfers who work for him. Among them is Dragon, a golfer who fights with kung-fu. This 1982 sports special is the first television adaptation of the Pro Golfer Saru manga by Fujiko Fujio A, which ran in Weekly Shonen Sunday and CoroCoro Comic.
