The first half moves like nothing else on screen: each frame burns with color, the cast clicks immediately, and the world tilts just enough that you can't predict who deserves what. Ten years ago, humans, gods and demons united against the colossal dragon Bahamut. Now the humans of the capital, Anatae, live in wealth and comfort under King Charioce XVII, who took a power from the gods and lets demons be abused and enslaved to help rebuild the city. Resentment grows among the demons and threatens to become a revolt, while the gods, weakened as faith declines, struggle to recover what they lost. Nina Drango, a cheerful young bounty hunter, arrives hoping to settle down and make a living. Her calm is soon shattered when she meets the Rag Demon, bent on revenge against humans, and Kaisar Lidfard, a noble knight torn by his conscience. The result is an action fantasy with romance and supernatural elements, in which every faction holds its own idea of justice.
