Set during the COVID-19 outbreak of 2020, Red is a slice-of-life film built around two perspectives and one shared feeling. One voice offers love and thanks to a physician who has died. Somewhere else, a person working as a personal shopper holds those same feelings of affection and gratitude from another vantage point. The film was made in 2021 as a first-year student project in the animation department of the Tokyo University of the Arts graduate film school.
