You're stuck in a time loop where every choice you make to fix things makes them worse, and the show never explains the rules until you've already lost. Derrida keeps jumping backward through time trying to save his daughter, but each loop costs him something irreversible, a memory, a relationship, a piece of himself. By episode three you realize he's not trying to prevent the disaster anymore; he's trying to live with what he's already destroyed.

In 2050, young engineer Derrida Yvain is celebrated for helping develop the Autonomous Machine DZ at Rebuild, the company his father founded. He and his colleague Nathan find a flaw in the DZs and raise it with their boss, who brushes them off. They set the problem aside to attend the birthday party of Nathan's daughter, Mage. Soon after, unknown attackers strike, and during the escape Derrida ends up in a cold sleep machine. He wakes ten years later in a ravaged world at war and is attacked by DZs gone out of control. Holding on to Nathan's parting request to look after Mage, he sets out to find her in this sci-fi action drama.
